About Mycovibe

The home of all things fungi

Who we are

Mycovibe is a small, independent UK shop run by people who are fascinated by fungi. We started with a simple idea: mushroom products should come with clear, honest information about what they are, where they come from and how they are made, without miracle claims or hype.

Because we are small, you will always reach a real person when you get in touch, and every order is packed by hand and dispatched from the UK within 1–2 working days.

Our mushroom tinctures

Our tinctures are made in small batches in Dorset under the Spore & Bloom label, using laboratory extraction methods rather than simple soaking. Mushroom fruiting bodies are first extracted in a Soxhlet extractor with 96% organic ethanol, which continuously washes the material with fresh solvent. They then go through an ultrasonic hot water extraction, where ultrasound helps break open the tough fungal cell walls. The two extracts are combined into a 1:3 dual extract at 30% alcohol and bottled in 50ml amber dropper bottles.

The range covers lion’s mane, reishi, cordyceps, chaga, turkey tail and oyster, plus a four-mushroom blend. Every product page lists the species, extraction ratio and directions for use. Read how dual extraction works →

Growing gourmet mushrooms

We are building a range of supplies for growing edible gourmet mushrooms at home, including liquid cultures, gourmet spore swabs and grow kits for species like oyster and lion’s mane. Our growing guides walk you through each stage, from inoculating grain to your first harvest.

Microscopy, responsibly

We also supply spore samples for microscopy and taxonomic study. These are sold strictly to adults aged 18 and over, for microscopy use only. Cultivating psilocybin-containing mushrooms is illegal in the UK, and we will refuse or cancel any order where we believe a product is intended for cultivation.
