About oyster mushroom

The oyster mushroom is one of the world’s most familiar culinary mushrooms, named for its shell-shaped, shelf-like caps that grow in clusters on dead and dying wood. Beyond the kitchen, it has an interesting nutritional profile: mushrooms are the richest dietary source of ergothioneine, an unusual amino-acid derivative, and oyster mushrooms also contain beta-glucans in their cell walls.

How it’s made

We extract the fruiting bodies twice: in hot water with the help of ultrasound, and separately in ethanol. Each solvent draws out different naturally occurring constituents, and the two extracts are combined into one tincture at a 1:3 ratio.

How to take it

Shake well. Take 1–2ml daily, directly or added to water, juice or tea. Do not exceed 3ml per day. A 50ml bottle lasts about 25 days at the suggested amount.
